From the Lab Team to the Ice Team

Hello Ice Team!
Shane, I received the samples this morning. The muscle biopsies were still frozen and there was still liquid nitrogen in the cryodewar (thankfully!)
I have placed them in the -80C freezer and sent the dewar back to you by FEDEX so that you can be sure to have it in time to take to the Ice.
I wish I was going to! Every day that you get closer to your departure date I remember the excitement I felt last year!
We (Lab team) have begun the process of tissue sectioning. We are practicing right now on some extra samples we had from previous studies. Look forward to some initial results soon!
