Hello Polar Scientists!

Wow, another exciting year is upon us and I am very keen to get it started. This year will be a little different from last year in that Dr. Kanatous will be leading the field team on the ice and I will be leading the lab team from my research labs in Toronto. Our teams will be in constant communication with each other so that we have another successful season of research. The exciting part is that you, as burgeoning scientists will get to see the experimental procedures we are using, see the data as it emerges and get to see first hand our analysis of the data helping us identifying the mechanisms that make the Weddell Seal such an amazing animal.
